Ethiopia Geruke Lot #9 Speciality Coffee Beans

A smooth, rounded and balanced high SCA speciality coffee. A special addition to our range of beans, our stock of this is limited so only a selection of our customers will have the opportunity to purchase these coffee beans!

The lot comes to us from the 1,753 member farmers of the Geruke Mazoriya Cooperative which was established in 1977. The washing station, like the majority of the small farms, are located in the Jimma Zone, in the Mana Woreda, Geruke, near to the town of Jimma. The station is run by 5 full time employees with the support of an additional 300 casual staff during the harvest months of October to December. The relatively large area covers over 1200 hectares of land which is made up of sandy loam soil and is rich in nutrients.

Packed and supplied in 100% recyclable bags and available for you to buy online as whole beans for you to grind yourself, we've also made our Ethiopian Geruke coffee available to purchase as freshly ground coffee in coarse, medium or fine.

Wherever possible we try to roast our coffee to order to ensure the coffee you receive is as fresh as possible. This can unfortunately mean that coffee orders will not always be shipped on the same day the order is placed. Keep an eye on your email inbox for shipping updates.

A mellow, rounded deep tasting coffee. Great as an expresso but also as a latte or cappuccino where the coffee depth comes through beautifully. Great service from a great coffee roasters. What more is there to say?
