Compared to the French press I’ve been using the AeroPress gives a nicer taste, smoother texture and stronger coffee. Well worth the price. Also small enough to take with on holiday which is what I have just done.

Just what I needed

Initially, I placed the order and paid for the item as the website indicated the item was in stock. The following day I received an email explaining the item was not in stock and would be sent as soon as more stock was available. I received the item within six days of placing the order. There was then a problem because the item I received was not what was advertised in the picture on the website. A Copper Coffee Roasters team member explained the mix-up and the additional components were sent in the post, which I received three days later. The Copper Coffee Roasters team were very cooperative with the initial errors made in the order and I am happy with the product I eventually received.

Over the years I probably made thousands of moka cups. Probably hundreds more of espressos and hundreds of ibrik cups. Yet I think the aeropress has now become my all time favourite. It makes delicious coffee extracting all subtleties and flavour nuances, it is super easy to use and clean and the whole package came as a bit of a revelation to me. It is the best of pour over and French press method with absolutely no faff. I recommend it highly.

Just started using my aero press (instead of French press); I love it - easy to control the strength (I do my own thing rather than follow the instructions); quick so the coffee stays hot (I didn’t like waiting with the French press); clean - the ground coffee is almost dry at the end of the process, so easier to discard; and the flavour is sublime - I’m a convert.
