Bought for me by my wife to replace an ageing grinder. The best coffee grind I've ever had. The conical burrs are made of excellent quality stainless steel. The grind is progressive and can adjusted while running.

Big down side- it's a pig to clean out. Leaves a rediculous amount of residual grinds in the burr cavity and outlet. This is wasteful and leaving the grinds in there is no no. Coffee grounds go stale quickly and they smell of old cigarette ash which is foul. I use my garage compressor to blow it out clean. The receptacle is flimsy.

I'll have to live with the foibles as trade off for superbly ground coffee and the flavour that comes with it.

After having various conversations with a good friend who is in the coffee trade, I bought this for my partner who absolutely loves his new gadget! It is sleek, and is easy to use.

This grinder replaces a previous, cheaper burr grinder by a well known 'luxury' brand that did not last or perform very well. The new one costs more, but appears to be well-made (especially the grinding mechanism) and produces a consistent, selected grind. The only slight shortcoming is that some medium grounds can escape from the receptacle and fall on the surrounding table. Not a major issue. Service, communication and delivery by Copper Coffee Roasters was excellent!

I did a bit of research before purchasing this grinder and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s well made and works great. This was also the cheapest price I could find online. I also took advantage of the half price coffee beans offer I was offered at checkout (Clubhouse Coffee Blend) and the coffee is delicious!
