
Ethiopia Sagara Lot 3 - Speciality Coffee Beans - Limited Edition
We have limited supply of this high SCA scoring coffee from a small lot in the Sagara region of Southern Ethiopia. It is our highest scoring coffee with an SCA score of 88.5.
The coffee owes its name to the Sagara washing station owned by Daye Bensa Coffee Export, who owns farms and washing stations around Southern Ethiopia. The washing station purchases coffee from farms in the surrounding area, typically small holdings of between 0.5 and 3 hectares. This particular coffee, Sagara Lot 3, was selected due to its unique qualities that made it stand out on the cupping table, earning it a very reputable 88.5 SCA score.
Expect cupping notes of lemon verbena, jasmine and hops. This small lot coffee that can easily be brewed in a variety of methods, and works just as well as a filter coffee as it does for espresso.
Packed and supplied in 100% biodegradable resealable bags and available for you to buy online as whole beans for you to grind yourself, we've also made our Ethiopian Sagara coffee available to purchase as freshly ground coffee in coarse, medium or fine.
